The YMCA is seeking a Youth & Family Program Director in Millington, TN.
The Youth Development Program Director is the operational director of (7) School Age Childcare sites, (4) Summer Day Camp sites, and non-school day care and camps. With general guidance from the Executive Director the incumbent develops, organizes, and implements high quality YMCA afterschool programs and can effectively work in a high paced environment. The position is responsible for ensuring program staff complete all required training classes as well as serve as a coach and mentor to staff in correcting deficiencies noted by licensing inspections. The Director must also perform all duties in accordance with state guidelines for youth development programs as well as policies and procedures, and state standards established by the state of Tennessee.
