St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a Director of Faculty Affairs & Development in Memphis, TN.
The Director – Faculty Affairs & Development serves as the key administrative contact for Faculty Affairs & Development with responsibility for providing leadership for the operational, administrative, and ongoing development aspects of the office. Oversees the appointment, re-appointment and promotion process for faculty, adjunct faculty and visiting scientists. Maintains and manages relevant faculty policies, procedures, and documentation. Ensures a smooth and efficient pre-employment process and serves as the key partner with Chairs to facilitate the separation process. Oversees the administration of the Faculty Appointments and Promotions Committee (FAPC) and the Executive Committee (EC). Responsible for the support and coordination of faculty meetings and special events and the St. Jude Standing Committees. Oversees the Faculty Affairs Office and staff with responsibility for the budget for recruitment and relocation. Engages others in positive and efficient manner to meet all needs for Faculty Affairs and Development within the Institution. Works collaboratively with Human Resources to ensure regulatory compliance standards are met. (RG)
