Founded in 1871, Christian Brothers University serves over 1,842 students at its 75-acre wooded campus in Memphis, TN. This Catholic University provides bachelor and master degree programs in a variety of disciplines, including arts, sciences, and education.
Reporting directly to the Vice President for Academics, the Dean of the School of Sciences is the academic officer charged with supervision of all departments of the school, including overall responsibility for the curriculum and academic quality. As an academic officer, the Dean assumes a university-wide perspective and a strategic role in communication with the university’s constituents. While the Dean of the School of Sciences will oversee both masters level and undergraduate programs, the successful candidate will have a strong commitment to undergraduate science education and a clear vision for how science curricula must be structured to prepare students for today’s challenges and for future success.
