The Director of Food & Child Nutrition Services oversees the implementation of the strategic plan in the area of school food and child nutrition services campus level operations. Directs the school food service operations and all processes necessary to assure the service of quality meals and meets the goals for assuring food safety and implementation of nutrition initiatives while meeting budgetary goals and local, state and national guidelines. Provides leadership to ensure that all students receive meals meeting all requirements of the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs and that are attractive and appealing. Oversee operation of summer meals, after school snacks and any special programs.
