Facebook is seeking a Vice President of U.S. Public Policy in Washington, DC.
As Facebook has become part of the daily lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world, we work hard to foster an ongoing dialogue with policymakers interested in our service and its impact on the world and their constituents. This role leads our public policy and government affairs efforts in the U.S., including by: monitoring the political and regulatory environment; educating policymakers about our products; working with policymakers and non-governmental organizations on issues of, safety and security, intellectual property, immigration, net neutrality, tax, privacy/data protection, and other important Internet-related concerns; and actively promoting the use of Facebook by government agencies, policymakers, candidates, and influencers. We are looking for a leader who can combine a passion for Facebook with a deep knowledge of the political and regulatory environment. This position is based in Washington, D.C., heads the FBDC office, and reports directly to the Vice President, Global Public Policy.
