The Executive Assistant provides administrative services for the Director of the Hospital in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsible for the efficient use of the executive’s time by reading, researching and routing correspondence. Responsible for maintaining the executive’s schedule, planning of travel and handling reservations, transportation and other logistical details of faculty member’s business travel. Organizes, prepares and reviews administrative reports and budget when appropriate. Assists in preparing grants, manuscripts and other business related documents. Establishes confidence and protects operations by keeping all information confidential. Maintains a high level of professional interactions with those interacting with the Director/faculty member and his/her office by cordially and professionally greeting guests in person, on the telephone or via other means of communication. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and other sources of continuing education. Responsible for office inventory, placing product orders and calling for repairs.
