SRVS is seeking a Director of Children Services in Memphis, TN.
Under the supervision of the Director of Program Operations, the Director of SRVS Children Services will plan and direct all functions of services being delivered in addition to hiring, scheduling, supervising, training and evaluating staff and volunteers and monitoring client activities. The Director will ensure all licensure, DIDD and DOE, are current and all regulations followed. Prepares reports, proposals and maintains appropriate and consistent communication with all staff, directors and donors. Will provide oversight of state funds (Part C, TEIS, etc.) including compliance with contractual regulations and ongoing interaction. Develops and implement a strategic plan and path plan.
Experience Required Masters degree in Specialist Education, Child Development, Education,Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling and/or closely related field. Must have five years work experience in increasingly more responsible administration or management positions and program development with a minimum of two years experience in developmental disabilities.
