Smith & Nephew is seeking an Engineering Project Manager in Memphis, TN.
Facilitates and negotiates activities between S&N manufacturing & Supplier teams to ensure the successful transfer & manufacturability of products to selected receiving sites. This person will facilitate the transfer of production processes, including inspection methods, fixtures, & tooling, to alternate manufacturing sites. The transfer project shall include properly integrating the newly qualified product-source into the supply chain for Smith & Nephew facilities and associated suppliers. Project Management responsibilities includes the budgeting, planning, and tracking activities needed to properly administration the GS0000008 – Global Manufacturing Transfer procedure in order to deliver cost-effective, verified, and validated production processes.
