Southwest Tennessee Community College is seeking a Provost / Executive Vice President in Memphis, TN.
The Provost/Executive Vice President is the chief academic officer directly responsible to the President for leading the development, coordination and implementation of curricula and instruction at the College. He/she serves as advisor to the President on all academic affairs. The Provost/Executive Vice President serves as a spokesperson for the faculty, departmental chairpersons, and academic deans with regard to matters concerning the instructional programs, budget proposals and academic personnel policies. The following staff and areas report to the Provost/Executive Vice President: Associate Vice President, Dean of the College; Executive Directors of Extended Programs; Library Services; Special Academic Programs; Retention and Graduation.
