Pandora.com is seeking a Director of Advertising Technology Operations in Oakland, CA.
The Director, Ad Technology Operations is responsible for aspects of the business that are related to feature enhancements and integrations of our internal sales software, and for business process improvement across Pandora’s sales and client services organizations. The individual will manage a growing team of Business Analysts and Quality Assurance Analysts whose focus is to collect business requirements, draft and understand use cases and workflows, deploy new features, resolve bugs and provide training & support to Pandora’s advertising sales and client services teams as they work with our order management platform. The team works with developers in an Agile environment; as such, the ideal candidate for this role has experience managing the rapid delivery of useful software to a large customer base and is used to working cross-functionally with the business, product and developers. Responsibilities include participation in prioritization of new features and work, deploying and managing team resources to drive projects towards on-time completion, owning cross-functional upwards/outbound communications and updates, partnering with technical teams to manage release cycles and quality, and ensuring successful end-user adoption of new solutions and features. This person will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop high-level and detailed project plans around upgrades and enhancements to existing solutions.We are looking for a leader who can drive operational efficiencies and successfully influence and partner with leaders in other departments. The Director will be expected to make high level decisions while keeping in mind project schedules, technical dependencies, revenue, technical and contractual issues. This position requires both strategic and detail oriented focus with extensive knowledge of the digital/mobile/broadcast advertising supply chain and a proven track record in operational excellence.
